Ocean Freight Services
Weekly sailings on multiple carrier lines to Africa, Gulf, Middle East, Far East, Europe and USA — ex Kandla and Mundra.
Service Overview
Ocean freight is the backbone of every export programme moving through Kutch, and it is the service One Global Shipping was built around. From our office on Kandla Port Road in Gandhidham — minutes from Deendayal Port — we book FCL and LCL cargo on weekly sailings to Africa, the Gulf, the Middle East, the Far East, Europe and the USA, drawing on carrier contracts with multiple major container lines.
Those contracts matter. MSC, Maersk, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, Evergreen, ONE, RCL, Interasia Lines, ZIM and COSCO all sail from Kandla and Mundra, and we negotiate space and ocean freight rates across all of them. When one line is tight on equipment or blanking sailings, your container moves on another — with transhipment options planned in advance, not improvised at the wharf. The result is schedule reliability that single-carrier forwarders cannot match.
Full container loads, LCL consolidation, reefer, IMO-classed hazmat, flexi-tanks for liquid cargo — the booking desk handles them all, import and export. Every shipment is matched to the right equipment and the right Incoterms, documentation is filed against the vessel cut-off, and your B/L is released without chasing. Tight coordination at both ports keeps detention and demurrage off your invoice, sailing after sailing.
What's included
SEA FREIGHT (FCL & LCL) — SCOPE OF SERVICE / 06 LINE ITEMS
01
Multi-Carrier Contracts
Contracted rates and allocated space with MSC, Maersk, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, Evergreen, ONE, RCL, Interasia Lines, ZIM and COSCO. Multiple lines quoting on every enquiry means competitive ocean freight and a fallback when schedules slip.
02
FCL Ex Kandla & Mundra
Full container loads in 20ft, 40ft and 40HC equipment, booked against weekly sailings from Deendayal Port and Mundra. We manage VGM, form 13, shipping bill filing and gate-in so your container never misses its vessel cut-off.
03
LCL Consolidation
Shipments below a full TEU move through reliable CFS consolidation with fixed weekly cut-offs. You pay for the cubic metres you use, with clean B/L documentation and predictable transit — no waiting to fill a box.
04
Reefer, Hazmat & Flexi-Tanks
Temperature-controlled reefer boxes, IMO-classed dangerous goods with correct DG declarations and stowage approval, and flexi-tanks for non-hazardous liquids. Specialist cargo is quoted, documented and stowed by people who handle it every week out of Kandla.
05
Six Global Trade Lanes
Direct and transhipment services to Africa, the Gulf, the Middle East, the Far East, Europe and the USA. Lane-by-lane routing advice tells you when a direct call wins and when transhipment via a hub port saves money.
06
Import & Export Handling
Outbound, we file shipping bills and secure space; inbound, we track the IGM, file the bill of entry through our customs clearance desk and arrange DPD or CFS delivery. One coordinator owns your shipment in both directions.
How we work
From booking to delivery
A disciplined, documented process — the same rigour on every file, whether it is one LCL carton or a full project shipment.
Enquiry & Rate Comparison
Share your commodity, volume, Incoterms and destination. We quote across all our carrier contracts within hours, showing ocean freight, local charges and transit time side by side.
Booking & Equipment
Once you confirm, we secure vessel space, place the container release and arrange empty pick-up — reefer, hazmat or standard equipment inspected before it reaches your stuffing point.
Documentation & Customs
Shipping bill, VGM, form 13 and DG declarations are filed against the cut-off. Our customs clearance team handles the let-export order and gate-in at Kandla or Mundra.
Sailing & Tracking
Your container sails on the confirmed vessel. We monitor transhipment connections, send milestone updates and flag any rollover or delay before it becomes a problem.
Release & Delivery
B/L or seaway bill is released on schedule, destination charges are confirmed up front, and for imports we complete the bill of entry and final delivery.
FAQ
Sea Freight (FCL & LCL): common questions
FCL (full container load) gives you exclusive use of a 20ft or 40ft container — the standard choice above roughly 13-15 CBM. LCL (less than container load) consolidates smaller shipments at a CFS, so you pay per cubic metre. We run both weekly out of Kandla and Mundra and will recommend whichever costs less for your volume.
